Let's hear it for a woman driver making a difference. Despite having a high-pressure job as Regional Director, West, at housing association Paradigm Housing Group – and being a mum – a colleague of mine, Tracey Gray, volunteered to be a Games Maker at London 2012.
She says "I was part of the mobility team, so I drove people with mobility issues around the Olympic Park, hired out wheelchairs and scooters and did loads of signposting for people. I loved it – one of the best experiences I’ve had."
Well done to you, Tracey, as everyone has said, the 'Games Makers' really did what it said on the tin.
