My New York International Auto Show favourites: original Cobra

The Cobra is one of my all-time favourite cars, although I've never been lucky enough even to drive one of the many replicas around. The SX2000 is THE real deal, and the most valuable car in the show at $26m. It debuted at the New York Auto Show in 1962, and this is the first time it has been back to the Big Apple. It's still in Carroll Shelby’s private collection, and appeared on the Shelby American stand alongside the most powerful Shelby Mustang yet, the 950hp Shelby 1000 - price tag $200,000.
