My New York International Auto Show favourites: Mercedes SL65 AMG V12 Roadster

Janis Joplin sang "Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes-Benz?" A Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG V12 Roadster might not scan, but I’d be even more grateful.
The storming flagship AMG Roadster is swelegant. It’s also the very fastest, most powerful Merc Roadster thanks to a 6.0-litre biturbo V12 tweaked by AMG to thump out 621bhp. The all-aluminium body is super-light, so it’s capable of rocketing to 60mph in 3.9sec and on to an electronically limited top speed of 186mph.
The SL65 AMG was priced at $198,750, though, so unless someone else buys one for me, there's be a Merc-shaped space on my driveway.
